Jamie Neill Badminton

Believe in yourself all the way and give maximum effort. Learn from defeat and setback and use those lessons to keep striving for your goals.

About me

I started playing badminton because Grampa coached my Primary School & Lanarkshire county. He was my main support throughout my entire career. Although I was capable at other sports, I loved the travel & friendships I made as a junior and the feeling of achievement from training and competing.

I still enjoy keeping fit, training hard and inspiring anyone I can. My main qualities as an athlete include the drive to work hard, and the determination not to give up. As a coach I’m a strong leader, very passionate about my job and love seeing people enjoy sport & improve their life skills.

Sport has taught me many valuable lessons, not only from success, but from disappointment; the journey isn’t easy, but it’s worth it when you have the abilities, courage and perseverance to pursue your goals.
