Kelsey Stewart Athletics

Your personal best is going to be different from someone else so you shouldn’t compare yourself to other people. It is about setting and competing against your own goals, giving 100% in everything you do and really digging in when the going gets tough to achieve them.

About me

When I went home from school at 8 years old and told my parents about a local one mile race I wanted to do, my mum’s response was “you’re not going – you’re like me, you can’t run”. A few days later my dad agreed to take me to keep me quiet. Athletics has given me the opportunity to see places in the world I wouldn’t have otherwise and I have made friends for life along the way. It has also taught me many valuable life lessons including the importance of celebrating success and how to bounce back from disappointment.
